New 2011 Hero Factory Preliminary Images

Thanks to sister site 2005 Boards members netkid and The Primes for posting new preliminary images of the 2011 Hero Factory buildable action figures by Lego. These images show more than the initial 2011 Hero Factory Preliminary Images from last week. These new images show the canisters for the heroes, and boxes for the villains.

Heroes include:

  • Furno 2.0
  • Breeze 2.0
  • Stormer 2.0
  • Surge 2.0
  • Nex 2.0
  • Evo 2.0
Unlike the current Hero Factory offerings, the 2.0 Heroes feature elbow and knee joints. There is also a new jet shown in the background, could it be an upgraded Hero Factory Drop Ship? New villains include:
  • Drilldozer
  • Jetbug
  • Nitroblast
  • Fire Lord

    Hmm, I was expecting them to improve guess I'm gonna wait longer for that.

    Why are they going straight for revisions of the existing characters? I couldn't get into these because they seem sort of dull despite semi-neat designs. The big ones look even duller. Masks are cool, but that's about it.

    I think with the 2010 series, the characters were always meant to get upgrades since the primary ones are rookies. Nonetheless, I think the 2010 versions, though not as articulated, actually look better. I know these new images re preliminary but I am somewhat disappointed. I mean no sign of Furno's blades, not cool! Also, half of a helmet? What?

    I can see some potential but hopefully we will get more stuff towards final production. More articulation is cool.
