Triad Toys has announced two new figures based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic John Carter of Mars. The two figures are John Carter and Tars Tarkas. Both figures are due in the fourth quarter of 2010. John Carter will sell for $110 and Tars Tarkas, who is limited to just 200 pieces, will sell for $299.99. Unfortunately, the pre-orders are already sold out.

As beautiful as those figures are, there is no way I can ever afford one of those. It's a shame, I love John Carter of Mars.
