Art Asylum has posted the first photos and info for their new Universal Monsters Minimates. The series 1 2-packs feature various iterations of The Creature From The Black Lagoon and The Wolfman. The series will be available at in Toys “R” Us stores.
We’ve all heard the stories our parents spin… “When I was your age, I saw the Creature from the Black Lagoon. I wouldn’t go swimming for WEEKS!” Thanks dad, but I plan on making my own stories about the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
For example: “When I was my age, I could buy the Creature from the Black Lagoon and Wolfman from my nearest Toys R Us! In fact, I plan using them to scare you all over again! Wha?”

I love monsters so i plan on buying all of these
I've had mine pre-ordered for about two months now. They should be shipping sometime in the next few weeks. I'm very excited about Diamond Selects acquisition of the Universal Monsters license.
I might pick these up, assuming I ever find them at my local TRU. Man, I didn't realize there were so many Minimates collectors near me until I started hunting down the IM2 War Machine MM.
I can't wait to pick these up, I'm a Universal nut, and in extension and Universal Monsters nut.
