The 2010 SDCC Mattypalooza panel just finished. We saw lots of new MOTUC stuff for the next year. If you missed our live coverage, including the images, you can check that out here: LIVE - Mattypalooza MOTU Classics and More!

    Let's get some discussion on!

So far I'm incredibly disapointed with the upcoming Ghostbusters line. Egon Spangler with... stack of books?! Oh yeah, that's right. He also comes with the PKE Meter! LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell Mattel? Stack of books? And Peter comes with a blast effect? I already felt a little cheated when Winston only came with the ghost trap. They couldn't have at least included a small ghost or something? Nope. But at least now we can get a blast effect!! Something that they should all come with anyway, in addtion to a ghost or another accessory.

The only ones I even care about at this point are Lewis and Courtroom Peter, but only because he comes with one of the Scolari Brothers. Where's Zuul? How about the Terror Dogs? Vigo? They could even give him the demon head so they could avoid any actor-likeness issues. Even a 6" Stay Puft would be awesome. I was going to sign up for the Ecto-1 membership, but I don't think I'm going to now. The only incentive is that I would get a marshmallow-covered Ray, which I think I can live without.

    Pretty disappointing.

thats why i didnt understand how they could have a year long subscription if they already did the 4 GB.

You have a point. I'm hoping they still have more to reveal before SDCC is over.

MOTUC line is so sick!!! Mattel and the 4 Horsemen are making some of the best looking figures ever made. The MOTUC and DCUC lines are beautiful.

Grizzlor looks fantastic! Excited about Buzz-Off and Roboto as well. King Hsss looks good too, but still looking for better pictures of the figure that was in the display cases.

I was very happy with the MOTUC offerings. It sounds like the line is just going to get better.

No mention though in the panel (either forthcoming from them, or a question from the fans) of the Digital River issues. I found that interesting.

That was exactly what I was hoping they were going to reveal when they first announced troop packs.

I'm sure we will get them at some point though.

Damn..I keep hoping the 200x versions are made soon...that was the series I started on(I never bought the vintage figures during childhood). The 200x was also the 4H's 1st MOTU line, so I'd love to see fully articulated versions.

    Roboto looks awesome. Very impressed.

I think Buzz-Off and Grizzlor look fantastic. And I'm excited that they're starting to get into vehicles as well. As cool as the obscure figures are, I personally think they're better off doing the popular figures more. But seeing as everything they do sells out, why listen to me?

Hopefully we will get us a Man-E-Faces next year sometime.

Long term I would love to see a MOTU Movie Skeletor and Blade.
