Panzer of Toysdaily has posted images of the VF-1J Valkyrie Hikaru Ichijo Custom, the most recent entry in the VF HI METAL line by Tamashii. The VF-1J has been released very recently and the images give an overview of the:

Though there are quite a bit of parts included, most of them aren’t actually necessary for transformation. The heat shield is the main one needed, everything else is predominantly for cosmetic changes. Hit the title bar to see more!

This is definitely a nice looking toy. Wonder if some fast packs are in the works. I think I'll wait to see what a Roy Focker version would be like.

Cool man, how much did you pay for it? I EAGERLY want Bandai to scale it up, add an internal heatshield and retractable landing gear, and opening canopy, in 1/55 scale and sell it as a DX VF-1 1/55 2.0.

I'll even take a 1/72 scale version and we can call it the SCHMpro VF-1.
