According to Toyfare #155 and WizardWorld.com, the San Diego Comic Con exclusive 19″ Galactus will come on a blister card with artwork by Joe Quesada! The card will actually be 27″ long, keeping it in-scale with the big G himself, so it will match the packaging of the regular 3.75″ figures. The retail version will still be boxed and come with an exclusive Silver Surfer redeco (the SDCC version will not), to differential the two versions.
Also included were new images of fellow Marvel SDCC exclusives, Ages of Thunder Thor and Ultimate Captain America!

ToyFare and Marvelousnews both confirm
NO MarvelMan figure
However, we are getting Galactus a bit early. The will be offering him on a blister card (extra long) and will be offered along side SDCC AOT Thor and WW2 Cap.
Heres to hoping that this product will be offered on HTS and I wont have to scalp it.
No Marvelman Figure For SDCC, But Galactus Will Be On Hand - Marvel - MarvelousNews.com
But the big question is, will you buy this figure as an SDCC exclusive with no box to keep it in, or will you wait? I find this very timely with our current discussion on to open or not to open. Check out the pol
I'm going to comic con ,but since I don't have a silver surfer yet, I'll wait for the boxed version.
But the carded guy is 7inches bigger?
Just think of a HUGGGEEE MU card
Not really going to make a decision until I see how much it is, but for now, it doesn't really interest me.
Not only will this Galactus be the one toy I leave unopened, I think I'm going to build a shadowbox for it. Or see if AFA can grade it and slap it in a plastic box so I can keep it in the living room floor.
The kitsch value alone is worth it.
I'll be at SDCC and I'll make the decision then. I agree with DrewBlank about the kitsch value, I think it'll be hard to pass up...and even harder to get home undamaged!
I have to admit...I'm kinda thinking of getting the SDCC version. All I want is Galactus and I'm not one to really hold onto boxes too much. I get the feeling that the SDCC version may not have silver surfer which is fine with me because I got the single carded version anyway.
It'd actually be kinda cool to see what number they give him on the card and if he gets a fury file. And if I decide to get the regular boxed Galactus, he will remain unopened.
I think I just convinced myself
isnt the silver surfer that comes with galactus have metalic silver, more silver than the wave 1 surfer.
And also when you read a new post and then go back to the main menu isnt the thread name supposed to be unhighlighted, whenever i do that the thread name is still highlighted ,maybe its just me.
I hope HTS has it online to order during or after SDCC event. I wouldn't mind having the carded and boxed version.
Someone explain SDCC exclusives to me? If I got to the show do they just sell them at the booth? Do they sell out quick? How's it work? I have tickets for Sunday.
This is so cool. I still want the boxed version, but having a giant-freaking carded Galactus is just too damn cool to pass on. I guess it's good that I won't be at SDCC so I won't be tempted. But if he shows up on HTS I might break down and get him.
Based on the replies, I'm wondering if a fourth option to this poll would have been needed - i.e. buying both.
For me, I'll wait until I find out how much HTS will want for the carded version. I'll probably still get the boxed version when it comes out, whether I buy the SDCC one or not. If I do end up with both, the boxed version will be opened, since I will most likely be able to re-seal it later.

Has anybody picked up a copy of Toyfare? The article should be in there with a pic of the carded Galactus
Don't know if this is new news or not, but I hadn't seen anything about it yet, if it's not new or news feel free to lock it up or delete it
Originally from Marvelous News:
Unlike the regular version of Galactus that will come with a Silver Suffer figure and be packaged in a window-box type packaging, the Comic-Con version will be released on a 27" tall blister card like you would see for regular 3.75" Marvel Universe figures. The card art will be by Marvel's own Editor-In-Chief, Joe Quesada. Unfortunately the article doesn't mention anything about what the price will be for it.
Other exclusives mentioned in the article are the previously announced 3.75" Marvel Universe "Ages of Thunder Thor" and "World War II Ultimate Captain America" figures. Both will have cardback art drawn by Joe Quesada as well.
Other Hasbro/Marvel releated Comic-Con exclusives not mentioned in the ToyFare magazine article, but revealed back in February at Toy Fair are, a Iron Man 2 Mighty Muggs figure with flip-up mask, and a Super Hero Squad 3-Pack with Dr. Doom in a bathrobe figure.
That carded Galactus looks SWEEEEEET!!! If I do get it, I'm going to try to 'customize' my carded Silver Surfer next to it so it looks cool together.
Hurrrge cards ftw
Very awesome. I wish they would do a 3 3/4" Galactus too, just for the hell of it.
And uh... why the hell is Captain America ball-jointed? That better be an early prototype or something.
Galactussss!!! This is the reason why we collect these figures
The carded figure looks pretty sweet. Almost looks like a 6" figure.
SO... does this mean 2 different packaging options for Galactus? Because I thought that the images before were boxed. AND that they came with Surfer... I WILL get Cap and Thor (and they will stay MOC - unusual for me since i am a player and not collector.) But will have to get 2nd Thor to play with.
where is this SCDD happening?
Wow, that's a big card.
I wish I could go. This year the guy I know that normally goes is taking a vacation with his Lady and will not be able to attend. I will be hitting up HTS on Sunday night/Monday morning.
