Iron Man 2 6in Mark V Suitcase Armor

Posted on March 3, 2010 at 2:06 am by Shin Densetsu under Marvel Toy News

Looks like the Mark VI Iron Man and War Machine won’t be the only new mold 6″ Iron Man 2 figures available exclusively at Walmart, as the Mark V Suitcase Armor has now turned up on Ebay! This version features more articulation and more swappable hands compared to the smaller 3-3/4″ version.

Will the suitcase be able to open up to store the extra hands, or perhaps modular armor? Click on the the thumbnail to take a closer look at the prototype!

Does anyone know when the Walmart 6 inch Iron Man 2 Figures are suppose to be released? I'm not touching the 3'1/2 inch until I get those 6 inch figures first.

I just REALLY hope they get around to releasing Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man in this series.

Mad bonus points if they can end up doing, say, Extremis Iron Man and Titanium Man.

Not sure who they can toss in with Crimson Dynamo but don't really care so long as the figure makes it out.

I'd imagine these will start to hit around May (when the movie is released). That seems to be Hasbro's model now - Ship the initial product early, and let the exclusives start hitting a month or two later.

Cool. I wonder if it's going to be like the animated series.

    Crimson Dynamo has been released.

I saw him at Target on Saturday but ended up getting War Machine instead.

    He means the 6'' ones.

The 3.75'' titanium man is more or less the same as the 6''. But the 6'' crimson dynamo has the 90s TAS like head.

No, I'm talking about the 6"/Marvel Legends sized Crimson Dynamo (which was briefly glimpsed along with a 6" Titanium Man at last year's SDCC before Hasbro pulled them from the display saying "we don't know if these will make it out or not"), which is a considerably different design from the (also very cool) one that just came out in the 4" line.

The 6" figure is based on this design.

is the 6 inch war machine the movie design or is it like the one they did as an exclusive in the first movie wave a mark3 in black and gray with the weapon additions. I really wanna see pics I'm still more of a fan of the 3.75 in figures though. cant wait to get more of those!

that armors interesting looks very skeleton or insect like...I'm curious to see the final product...but I doubt that it'll include multiple hands might be test hands to decide on the final product.

I disagree, the 6" Mark VI and War Machine come with swappable hands and this is something Hasbro initiated with the ML 2 packs. Also, the hands made it as far as having molds tooled up(the hands you see are molded plastic instead of sculpted resin), so chances are, to recoup the costs invested in tooling the molds, those swappable hands are going to get made one way or another.

Yeah, as nice as Iron Man 2's Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man look, the Legend ones looked great as well so it would be great to see those make it out.

Extremis IM is in the new Universe line. I got two today but they had the first wave out I guess. Bucky, Luke Cage, Black Widow, newer Spiderman, couple others.

those are the 8 inch limited articulation figures they don't have ball joints or torso articulation the 6 inch figures haven't been released yet probably later in the coming months.

here's the only pics Ive found of them. as you can see these have the full articulation that the past 6inch line from the concept series for iron man 2 had and that the 3.75 inch series has

Ah, that I didn't know. The 6 inch are the ones to get then, guess 8" are for smaller kids.
