Oh damn, that parallax is sweet!!!
    Sinestro too?
YAY all gl figures I need still!

    Seriously wow.
I may have to reconsider my favorite in show now. Drift, Rayner Parallax, or MU something.

I Love that Flash, I just wish they had all had this kind of detail and articulation. I might have actually been into this line from the start.

I want that parallax bad. DCIH is finally catching up (sorta) to mu.

    Toy Fair 2010 – Interview with Mattel’s TOY GURU, Part I | TheFwoosh.com

    Quote:
H: For Infinite Heroes, I think the biggest thing with collectors is the new design, new articulation. Given the lead time in design, you must have been making those changes pretty early on, before the first waves were even shipping, so-

TG: Yeah, that was pretty much when I came on the line. Not at all to discount the people that were working on the line before me but one of the first things I did when I came on the line was say, “We’re taking this back to formula. These are not the toys I want, and if I’m not happy with them then collectors aren’t going to be.”

H: You had the Crisis theme last year for DCIH. What is it for this year?

TG: DC’s 75th. And that’s throughout the DC lines. They’ll all have the buttons…

Agreed. Parallax might be the first DCIH figure I buy. I loved that whole arc and was a little disappointed that DC felt the need to "redeem" Hal. But I know that he's the most popular GL and that was why he was brought back.

I guess it's the "the monster did it, not Hal" plot that seemed a bit of a cop-out to me. I thought it was much cooler that a hero fell from grace and fought his way back to redemption. I mean, Tony Stark's alcoholism wasn't blamed on anyone but Stark himself and he worked hard to redeem himself, much like he's doing now because of Civil War/Secret Invasion.

Maybe that's why I've always preferred Marvel over DC.

That bugs me too, especially if you've read emerald twilight. It's a masterpiece in the way it's written, down to the moments of Hal finally coping with this loss. Right as he's about to cope and come to terms with it, and his father's crash too... The guardians rip it away from him, push him over the edge, and make him snap.

It's the perfect moment of their arrogance making one of their best snap and go over the edge with just cause. Down his temporary insanity in trying to make things right again, and then following up with his final night redemption act. These are all (albeit superhero embelished) stages of grief and coping mechanisms, Just to have it all ruined by blaming it on some yellow demon.

But then again, Parallax rayner was pretty badass for the whole few pages he got. I'm just glad to finally have a parallax figure of any kind in DCIH. Though I'd prefer hal. For now, kyle works, especially with how the guardians treat him even though he was the torch bearer. And gave them new life. But ganthet as a nanny kinda sucked apparently. Shoulda hired supernanny.

I really hope more GL DCIH packs are coming. I'd love to get a Hal spectre too, besides hal parallax, and the various costumes of kyle, and the other corps or war of light ringed up heroes.

Oh I want the Flash and Sinestro packs. I'd get the Nightwing set except he's a wierd color. Is it some new suit or something because last I saw before he became the new Batman he was still black and blue
