The Star Wars Vintage Collection was on display today at Toy Fair 2010. This collection features new figures on vintage cards(with the Kenner logo retained as an homage), in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Empire Strikes Back! Figures shown include the likes of:

  • Den Gar
  • Han Solo in Echo base outfit
  • Leia in Hoth outfit
  • Luke Skywalker in Bespin fatigues
  • 4-LOM
  • Boba Fett
  • Darth Vader
  • C-3PO
  • Cloud Car Pilot

    I love the packaging. Definitely awesome. Though I'm not gaga over the figures. They look ok, but they don't do anything for me.

    If they really wanted to do a Kenner homage, they'd call the 4-LOM figure Zuckuss.

    What gets me into NOT buying these, as I would really only keep them sealed, is I know that down the line, I would eventually lose money on them if I were to ever resell them. I have about 3 large bags of sealed POTF2 figures that aren't even worth the plastic they were made from.

    Actually, Red, they're going to do just that. It will be a Celebration V exclusive!! 4-lom and Zuckuss will be printed in the traditional reverse-card style that they originally appeared on!

    Damn, I am having some serious flashbacks right now. Hopefully I can pick up all of the ESB figures and store them in the AT-AT, once I get it.
