After reading a few reports of people finding these, I decided to go look at Walmart and found what seems to be wave 1. I only bought Venom because he is the only figure I wanted from this wave.

Venom's lacks articulation but the sculpt is great IMO.
$7.97 each.
few more shots...

I tried to buy some at a local Wal-Mart yesterday morning, but they weren't in the computer yet.
I tried to price check them with their scanner and they were not in the system. When I went to pay, It actually scanned at the register.
He looks great. I'll have to keep a look out and pick one up.
l thought i would get only Venom but since he lacks articulation i might wait till hasbro makes him in the MU line, or the second venom in this line. BTW im posting this from my psp go at the palms casino.
Yep, I saw them tonight at Walmart in Raynham, MA. I didn't get them yet as I'm waiting for my check. Haha.
The articulation is simple and the gimmicks make the line obviously for kids, but oh well. They'll look neat on display.
I like my Venom to look more monstrous, but the thing that stopped me from buying him was the lack of a tongue for god sakes how hard is it for them to just do that!
You're right, sculpts are great but holy hell, lack of full articulation is incredibly disappointing.
He didn't have the tongue at first. Erik Larson gave it to him (along with the drool) when he followed McFarlane as the artist on Amazing Spider-Man.

P.S. Ultimate Venom is my favorite so that also makes it hard to buy that one.
personally I think it looks better without the tongue but the lack of articulation as everyone says sucks and kills it for me I mean they made bulky figures before with all the joints like the hulk figures. whats the problem???
I haven't been to the stores by me yet I just want to ask does it have knee or ankle joints cause in those picks I cant make anything out on the legs.
Venom's sculpt and paint apps look nice. If I get any figures from this line, it'll be him. I remember seeing a picture of a Juggernaut that's supposed to be released in this line at some point, but personally, I'm going to get the Marvel Universe Juggernaut when he comes out. He's bulkier, and his proportions are less normal looking when compared to the SM line's Juggernaut.
Really? Source? If there's a chance we'll be getting a Venom figure in the Marvel Universe line (most likely with better articulation), I'd wait for that figure, but this is the first I've heard of the possibility.
Of course they may make a Venom in MU. He is rather popular.

I never did read what the page said, and just assumed it was going to be a later wave, as this was one of the few pages I could find when looking for information on this line.
Bit of a...noob moment for me, lol.
As for Rhino, eh, he looks interesting, but I've never been a fan of the character, or his design. Venom and, maybe, Doc Ock are really the only current figures in this line I have any interest in. Though if they were to make Carnage, Toxin, and Anti-Venom, I'd definitely get them.
