Okay, this is really cool… MOTU is the upcoming subject of an art show at Gallery1988:Los Angeles! The show is called “Under The Influence: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,” where 100 artists (100!) will reinterpret and pay tribute to our beloved MOTU brand. Here are the details:
What: “Under The Influence: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” Art Show
When: Opening Reception January 8th 7-10pm
Show runs January 8 – January 29
Where: Gallery 1988:Los Angeles

The show lineup features 100 of the top emerging contemporary artists, who all grew up playing with He-Man® and MOTU. The gallery will be transformed into Castle Grayskullâ„¢ for the event. It’s a huge honor to be featured in an “Under The Influence” show. Past honorees include Walt Disney, Stan Lee, and Mattel’s own Hot Wheels® brand for its 40th Anniversary!
If you want to hobnob with the artists and designers, come to the show opening on January 8th. The reception is open to all ages and it’s free, so bring the whole family.

This show is going to be awesome. Gallery 1988 is wonderful and the owner is a very nice guy. I've had work featured in shows there, like the Crazy for Cult shows. If you are around the LA area I would highly recommend you passing by to check it out. If not, you can always view the work on their website after the show.
