Looking forward to this one for sure! I don't recall an Evil Lyn back in the 80's, although I'm sure there must have been one.

Indeed there was. She was one of the first action figures I can remember getting, along with Copper Kid from Silverhawks.

Here's a link with several photos. It was re-released in the commemorative series around 2000-2001.

She also had a figure in the 2002 series, and a mini-statue from NECA (seen in that pic is the SDCC exclusive classic color scheme).

Yeah, basically Evil-Lyn was the counterpart to Teela (and a remold, too).

Hopefully she looks better than Adora.

Not likely since adora is a dead on match for her animation model.

Sadly we probably won't see a 2k evil lyn with swappable heads. But here's hoping, since they did manage to make teela a cross between both while still staying classic.

Thanks for the link and info.

As far as the new release, she has that "don't mess with me" look about her. I'm not sure if I like it or not, but I'm sure I'll still get it.

The 2002 mold was really good, I must say. I'd be curious to see how this one compares. Though, sadly, I know it will be more like the original cartoon version, but still.

You never know, they could release a redeco in cartoon colors or some time down the line release a 2002 version.
    By the way, nice avi!

Small update from Matty on Evil Lyn from Facebook. "New images of Evil Lyn are in Toy Fare magazine and Lee's this week!. And to clarify, Lee's has incorrectly reported a "chase" version of Evil Lyn. This is not correct. There will be only one version with all the accessories. (and a few surprises left to reveal for this mistress of magic...stay tuned!)"

I'm sure we will get a 200X repaint that will more than likely be a combination of the Filmation and MYP cartoon. It can't come soon enough though because although it's the original way she came, her jaundice skin color didn't make sense then and makes even less sense now.

Wow, very nice! Hard to tell from that pic, but it looks like they stayed away from the sickly green cast after all.

So who can guess what the mystery accessories mean?
