I just found Marvel Universe wave 5 at Wal-Mart of all places. A little expensive at $8.44 each. I couldn't pass them up, though. The only figure they didn't have was Guardian. Other than him, they had one of each character and about 3 Spider-Man and 3 Iron Man. Along with that they had a few Grey and Green Hulks and the Iron Fist variant with the closed fist.

This was the first time I have seen them out in a store so they should be hitting everywhere now. Good luck finding them everyone.

I saw them at a comic shop not too far from where I live at the beginning of August or maybe it was the second week? Anyway, they were still there when I went again last Friday, as the prices are not too hot for them. I still want the Iron Man and Gaurdian looks GREAT in person, but I can wait till I happen upon them.

    Nice find ludo!

Thanks. I was surprised to find them. Now I'm keeping my eyes peeled for those Gigantic Battles sets.

You and me both. I've been kind of nervous as to when they come out, because I really want both of them but will probably only be able to get one depending on the release.

I really want that Bucky Cap, but the Iron Man and Hank take priority.

    I am buying all!!!!!!!

Mostly choice characters but BOTH gigantic battles have a place in my bank account!

I cannot wait to find this wave. Especially the fixed Iron Fist.

Found them all at my WM today as well. Passed on all of them since all the cards were bent and the extra WM price hike irks me.

None that I've heard of. You guys should check out my thread in the marvelousnews.com forums, I'm tracking this wave as it pops up all over country. I'm checking every MU forum I can find on a daily basis and putting virtual 'push-pins' in a map posted in this forum thread. It's a nice visual representation of where these figures are hitting.

Really hope they hurry up, can't wait for Electro and Guardian plus I'm really hoping that the first 2010 wave and the Gigantic battles hit stores before Christmas. I'm dreaming of a "Marvelous" Xmas.

Well, I probably bought the ones you passed on. Thanks They had creased cards along the left side. I didn't care too much since I planned on opening them anyway. Didn't happen to see Guardian did you?

Guardian was there (this was Friday). I believe I only saw one of him though.

Might want to get your facts straight there, ToyArk. :P

The House of M Spider-Man is in the first wave set to be released in 2010 -- not this one.

    Wave 5 is as follows:

    025 - Electro
    031 - Guardian
    032 - Spider-Man (red/black costume, packaged right-side up)
033 - Iron Man (red/silver Silver Centurion armor)
    034 - Sub-Mariner (modern costume)

There are two variants being released as part of this wave as well. One is the Iron Fist variant. It is not considered a new figure though. It has the same numbering as the original.

The other is a variant of the Spider-Man being released in this wave. It is packaged upside down and it's a red/blue costume, rather than the red/black one. The artwork, however, is the same as the red/black one.

Huh? Where in this thread does anybody mention House of M Spidey in this wave?

Just found these this morning at Wal Mart in Vancouver, WA. I only picked up Iron Man and Electro. There was one of each left including a Grey Hulk, Daredevil.

Shin frontpaged this thread but included the wrong info on Spidey. Lemme see what I can do to fix that.

As for me, I'm impressed by Namor and Electro, but I don't think I'll be picking any of the new figures up. I might get the Grey Hulk though, since I'll most likely skip plain old green in favor of the Secret Wars version.

When I 1st started this collection I was getting every fig, every variant, and then a couple cool figs that I like 2 open up. It was getting crazy. Now Im just picking up some of the Figs I like and opening them up. I hope to make a city like display like at SDCC09 for all of my figures. Does any1 have any links that would help 4 this. I really just want Guardian and electro from this wave.

Help for a display or to get your figures?
