Today we bring you a very creative Custom of the Day. The custom comes courtesy of Toyark forum member Sentinel Prime. He took an Armada Megatron and turned it into The Fallen, complete with excellent looking flames.

Well, hello there. Thanks for stopping by. I've been buried with commissions, but had a chance for a few new projects to share...

Considering the excitement around the new film and the mainstream intro of The Fallen into TF lore, I decided to read The Dark Ages to get a good take on The Fallen as originally written. He's MUCH more effective and ominous, so I thought I'd present a version of The Fallen for the "Classics" line, based on his appearance in "The Dark Ages".
Here he is given the "Classics" treatment, which means bringing the character up-to-date with a modern appearance. He was shown as being locked away in a room with a symbol by Primus long ago, but he's escaped his prison once again to wreak havoc in 2009!!! (recipe follows pics)
The "Titanium" version was small and wimpy, the character was portrayed as very powerful, and I wanted at least a voyager scale figure. He's based off of Armada Megatron, who is quite large. I created the faceplate with apoxie-sculpt, then went to work on the flames with hot-glue. They are all fully removable and can turn in any direction you like. They attach on the mini-con ports, except for one, and it uses a tiny but strong rare earth magnet. The symbols on the shoulders were covered with square plastic pieces I harvested from some other toy. The "horns" were removed, and the gaps replaced with styrene. The head was removed, and I installed a ball joint for the neck so he can look in any direction. You can see the tiny flame effects coming from the eyes.
I painted him black, then traced out all the inferno lines with silver, then translucent orange for that reflective, fiery look. I tried to get some photos in different lighting to illustrate just how reflective the fiery parts appear. I then went back and gave him some detail, such as mud, scuffing etc. He had this worn, stove-pipe look in The Dark Ages, and I think this mold captures that look with all the line work which suits the "inferno stove look" well. I wanted a beaten up, flat look.
Thanks for looking, any and all comments, critiques, love and hate are encouraged!
Nice, well done!
Excellent job, dude!
Maybe FunPub can run with this idea, assuming the mold is still available for them to use.
Today's custom of the day.

Wow, nicely done!
Hasbro: take note! Hire this guy now!
Really cool!

You could make another one using the chinese bootleg by Happywell, it´s almost 12 inches tall, with sound, motion and lights and the head is almost like the one you did.
Oh yessss, nice !!!!!!!!!!
Nice work, man!
