Tamashii will be producing one of the biggest Gundam figures ever made, and Hobby Japan has provided images of the prototype! In this next ambitious effort, Tamashii will tackling the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam, this time in 1/35 scale and part of their Gundam FIX Figuration toyline designed by famed Gundam designer, Hajime Katoki.
The biggest mass market, fully poseable RX-78-2 Gundam previously was the Perfect Grade(PG) model in 1/60 scale, which was about a foot tall or more. At 1/35 scale, this new GFF figure is nearly double the size! Click on the title bar to see the prototype!

HOLY GOD! I bet Char's Zaku is next, being that he is more popular than Amuro in Japan.
Holy shit. How much freaking money is this gonna cost? Cause GFF figures are spendy enough as it is.
I'd much rather have that.
I might have to get it though. I could definitely see Char's Zaku being next.. So maybe I should save my money for that instead. Maybe they'll make a variant RX-78 Casval's Gundam instead!
Well the recast 1/35 resin kits were around 2000 USD back in the day ... so maybe around 1000 to 2000?
