Entertainment Earth has some pre-orders for a few upcoming Star Trek Starships. The ships are due in June of this year for a price of $14.99 each.
The second Starship Enterprise has been built; its former commander, James T. Kirk, has been demoted to Captain after disobeying Starfleet orders and, in the process, saving the galaxy. That’s gratitude for you. With James T. Kirk at the helm, this rugged vehicle fought the forces of Sybok as well as General Chang.
The Enterprise D is first seen in “Encounter at Farpoint” under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. The ship’s dedication plaque establishes that the Enterprise was built at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards around Mars. The Enterprise D is the third Galaxy-class starship, after the prototype USS Galaxy (from which the Galaxy-class takes its name) and the USS Yamato. The dedication plaque gives its commissioning date as 40759.5, which was intended to represent October 4, 2363.
The Bird of Prey is one of the most common Klingon ships seen in the Star Trek franchise. First introduced in Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, the Bird of Prey has featured in several of the films and series. In early drafts of the script, the Bird of Prey was to be a Romulan vessel; although this idea was later dropped, the Bird of Prey maintained its cloaking device as a plot point in the film and the Romulan bird feather patterns on its wings were kept.
