Yamato will be releasing a limited edition Hyper Hobby Plus Vol. 6 Macross exclusive, a 1/60 scale VF-1J Hikaru weathering version. In comparison, the regular VF-1J Hikaru custom is molded in a bright white.
The cut off date for orders is May 11th. Set for release in late August, this toy will retail for 16,000 yen.

I have found that you can obtain very similar results using one of the cheapest art supplies I have ever come across, and a napkin.
Gonna have to agree that is pretty crappy right there...
All of their valks are over weathered just to make them obviously weathered. That plus insane prices mean easy pass for this Macross fan.
