Set for release in January 2009 is Yamato's 1/60 VF-1D Valkyrie. This is the first perfect transformation toy of the VF-1D, and has been in demand for quite some time. This long awaited valkyrie includes figures of Hikaru Ichijou & Lynn Minmay. With the removable cockpit feature of the new 1/60 toy line, the scenes were Roy rescues both Hikaru and Minmay by detaching the VF-1D cockpit and mounting it under his VF-1S' forearm are able to be recreated.
