After putting their Dragonar-1 on display at toy and hobby shows for the last two years, manufacturer Max Factory have finally posted a price tag and a release date for this die-cast figure.
Bandai has already produced two versions of the Dragonar-1 in their SOC SPEC line, but the stylized anime aesthetics of this one should give collector’s a reason to give it a look.
The Max Gokin Dragonar-1 is slated for release in June 2009, with an MSRP of 22,800 yen.
It's only been "coming soon" for ... what... two years? Three years? I've lost track.
I'm not sure that I like this design more or less than Bandai's own SOC SPEC versions... but at least it's different. It's a tough sell when there's no real visual difference between two products.

Agreed that this is going to be a tough sell. Especially considering the price!
