Just released, the Respect for Volt-In Box version of Bandai’s Soul of Chogokin Voltes V has been redesigned to replicate the look of its older Godaikin toy. Eschewing anime accuracy for “toy accuracy”, the Respect for Volt-In edition of Voltes V is sure to excite younger and older collectors alike with its combination of old-school nostalgia and modern toy engineering.
MSRP is 18,690 Yen, and it’s out now in Japan.
I like the look of it, even if it's a little busy. The addition of a firing cannon on the arm is a definitely cool touch, hearkening back to older SOC and older toys who had firing fists.

I also like the tank mode, even if it's not "show" accurate. Then again, this toy isn't about being "show accurate", it's about being ... toy accurate ... to a different toy.
Wild, I know.
A few more pics can be found at the official Tamashii site.
There's a Japanese language review of the toy here:
Gear-Gear: RESPECT FOR VOLTES
... It compares the original release to the new one. Good to look at for comparison. No word as of yet on whether or not the ankles or swing joint in the hips have been modified or tightened.
I absolutely adore the Voltes V design. As soon as I can afford it, it's mine.
Hotness! Really nice design. New and vintage all in one.
In my homeland Voltes V is a beloved mecha. I hope to one day see a subbed version. The toy looks awesome, look at all that brilliant engineering Bandai implemented!
they should make a Camp Big Falcon and fit all these volt machines.
