CM’s Corporation has now provided final product photos and release information for their latest diecast toy release: The Tetsukyojin Galient from the 1984 TV show Panzer World Galient. This particular version is seen in the OVAs and does not transform like its TV show counterpart, but the toy at least should provide a fair amount of display value.
The toy is slated for release in February 2009, with a MSRP of 16800 Yen and is rumored to have around 80-90% diecast metal, with PVC, ABS, & POM plastic making up the remainder of the toy.
You can peruse the official CM’s Corp product site here.

They've had EXCELLENT success on their diecast non-transforming (or simple transforming) figures, and I imagine this one will have the same level of quality as their Brave Patlabor and Ippatsuman figures. It's not quite as pricey as their latest releases either, though at around $185 it's still not easy on the wallet.
Looks awesome but a little out of my price range.
Nice! This truly is an honorary Brave, he pops up in the Brave saga games. Wonder if his whip / sword will be included.
The latest photos:
nice!
Pretty cool. Though I preferred the original brighter shade of red.
There's a limited 300 piece release version that's a brighter candy-apple red;

This guy looks so nice. It's such a pity that CM's stuff is just so expensive. Even though this isn't as painful as some of their other gokins, it's still too much for a casual purchase.
Sooooo I got him. He's okay. On the CM's totem pole, he's more GaoGaiGar than GoShogun, as far as quality. Not awesome. Not bad. Just kind of average. Not really worth the price the figure demands.

. Ball joints ... not so great for a mostly diecast figure.

The figure uses ball joints vs. the tried and true ratchet system, which while giving his shoulders a great range of motion... it means that this is going to be an all-too-familiar sight when posing him
The only ratchet joints in the entire figure are in his elbows, which can extend to expose an extra joint for more mobility. He can touch his hand to his shoulder if he wants.
