Lee “Apollo” Adama is the son of William Adama. Lee, along with his brother Zak, was encouraged by William to become Viper pilots; the younger brother Zak was subsequently killed in an accident, a fact that divided Lee from his father prior to the Destruction of the Twelve Colonies. Lee Adama eventually signed on with the crew of the Galactica, assuming the recently vacated CAG slot.
