DC Collectibles New 52 Line is winding down. We recently looked at some of the last wave with Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Today we’re showing off the second version of the Joker released so far, one loosely based on Detective Comics #1, before he sliced off his face in the overall continuity. He has a very “killing joke” like sculpt to the face, but is rocking a sinister black trench coat and plain white shirt, grounding the overall look. He comes equipped with a beefy kitchen knife and a smile. Let’s check out how he stacks up after the break with over 30 high res shots courtesy of site sponsor Big Bad Toy Store!

DC Collectibles put out a pretty awesome exclusive this year at SDCC – a “blueline” version of their New 52 Batman figure. The figure is pure white head to toe, with paint apps meant to mimic inking as would be done on a penciled page of a comic book before it is colored. This was overseen by none other than all star artist Jim Lee. The “blueline” aspect comes into play because the packaging features design cues from the blank pages comic artists use to do their pages, what they submit to the comic publisher to be inked and then scanned for coloring (now a days). The standard one came with a printed sketch by Jim Lee, and there were 150 units with hand done sketches, 50 Batman, 50 Joker, 50 Harley. Those are running crazy prices right now in the aftermarket, but I’m cool with the standard one, I can open this without ruining a down payment on a car.
The figure is a fantastic art piece that I was looking forward to since they announced it. Even though doesn’t fit in on a “DC Universe line up” shelf, it’s a cool unique accent piece, and I’m happy I was able to pick one up. Check out over 35 shots of the SDCC Blueline Batman after the break!
Check out a few new photos of the Kotobukiya DC Comics New 52 Red Hood ARTFX+ Statue. We saw the statue during our coverage of Kotobukiya’s booth at SDCC 2015. The 1/10 Scale Red Hood Statue is up for pre-order now via KotoUS.com and is priced at $54.99. It’s scheduled to be released in January.

The road to the end of DC Collectibles New 52 Action Figures continues today with a photo shoot for Poison Ivy, winner of the fan’s choice poll from DCC back in 2014. Poison Ivy is rocking her New 52 look which features a black jumpsuit layered in foliage and IMO is great modern take on the character. Still keeping a bit of the seductive tendencies in place without putting her in a leaf bikini. Check out our thoughts and over 20 high res shots after the break courtesy of site sponsor Big Bad Toy Store!
DC Collectibles New 52 Line is still going strong even though we are nearing the end of it’s run in the books. We still have a few more coming before DC Icons starts later in the year including today’s Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and a non-slice-face Joker. I personally dug a lot of the redesigns and have been picking them up randomly, not a front to back thing here. So, today we have the Joker’s loyal squeeze Harley Quinn. Check out what we thought and over 30 pics courtesy of Big Bad Toy Store!
DC Collectibles via USAToday have revealed some of their 2015 San Diego Comic Con exclusives. On the action figure side, we’ll be getting a pencil sketch version of New 52 Batman designed by none other than Jim Lee. There will be 2 versions, a 40 dollar figure only version, and a 300 dollar version (limited to 150 pieces) with sketches done by Jim Lee. The other exclusive is a plush version of Krypto, Superman’s pup. Check out the pics and video after the break!
Previews World posted much higher resolution pics of the Batman figure (and the Krypto). They have been added to this story.
DC Comics Icons is a 10 inch statue line from DC Collectibles, not to be confused with the upcoming DC Icons line of action figures due out at the end of this year (which look great). The line consists of key characters in the 10 inch scale with Batman, Superman, Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg out now, Green Lantern is on pre-order. All rocking their New 52 looks and featuring the same base. Green Arrow dropped today and we have a quick gallery of the piece after the break.
