Yamato USA has been releasing statues in their Fantasy Figure Gallery line for a bit now, with stunning interpretations of DC Heroines and more. Most are based on art by Luis Royo, a famed artist known for his Fantasy style work. Wonder Woman is the fourth DC Comics piece to go along with Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn.
Entertainment Earth got an exclusive run of the statue with some changes. This version has the sword and shield in hand, rather than on the base. Her outfit is also slightly changed. In all it’s a great update to an already stunning piece. Let’s take a closer look after the break courtesy of Entertainment Earth!
The fine folks over at Entertainment Earth have sent some images of their upcoming Yamato Wonder Woman statue variant exclusive. Key differences include her shield and sword being held rather than on the base, a different top exposing the stomach, alterations to the boots and different tones in the colors used. The original was a stunning piece and this one is just as good if not better now that she’s ready for battle. Check out the official details below!

Yamao has released a product sheet showing off their upcoming Macross toys. We’ve seen all of these before, except for 1; the 1/60 VF-1D “Virgin Road” Valkyrie. This was the valkyrie used only once in the series, flown during the marriage of Max and Milia, the popular ace pilots. This valkyrie is painted in the same colors as Max’s VF-1J.
Yamato’s 1/60 VF-1 releases this year have included many TV versions, including popular and obscure versions. This is the very first toy of the “Virgin Road” VF-1D to see release, and chances are, the VF-1J Super Valkyries of Max and Milia aren’t too far behind. Could we see them before year’s end?

Yamato has shown new images of their upcoming 1/60 scale VF-1S Low Visibility Valkyrie. This valkyrie is set for release in Fall, and is the very first, low visibility VF-1S Skull One to be released by Yamato. The only other low visibility releases by Yamato have been two VF-1A’s in 1/48 scale.
Since the first VF-1A Low Visibility Valkyrie was a very popular release in 1/48 scale, could a VF-1A Low Visibility Valkyrie make an appearance in Yamato’s 1/60 line, perhaps before the end of the year? Click on the title bar to see the new images of the new VF-1S!
GA Graphic has posted new images of upcoming 1/60 YF-19 toys set for release soon by Yamato. Yamato has announced earlier that these releases will feature improvements over previous releases, aiming for higher quality.
These offscreen versions of the YF-19 are called the Double Nuts(blue black trim), and the Bird of Prey(with orange trim). The YF-19’s pictured give us a good idea of what to expect when these are released.
Originally, the Double Nuts version had red paint applications, and on the final release, as pictured, it has been changed to a dark blue. Click on the title bar to see more!

One of the most highly anticipated Macross releases of the year, the VE-1 comes with some unique accessories used on no other VF-1 variants. Despite it’s limited appearance onscreen, it is a design that fans definitely wanted to see more of, especially in toy form. This summer we’ll all get our wish!
