In 2017, we completed more photo shoots than any other year we’ve been live. We shared over 270 Total Collectible and Action Figure Galleries, totaling well over 350 action figures and collectibles. Between the three main staff members, we spent nearly every day this year photographing and prepping a photo shoot to share with our fans and readers. While I can’t promise that we’ll keep up that blistering pace in 2018, I can promise we’ll continue to bring everyone some fantastic galleries throughout the year. So, if you would like to revisit any of our photo shoots, or feel like you missed a few dozen galleries, you can see the full selection of photo shoots after the jump!
Toyark sponsor Big Bad Toy Store has opened up pre-orders for the Mortal Kombat – Shao Kahn 1/12 Scale “Bloody Edition” Figure. The figure, by Storm Collectibles, will be a Bluefin Exclusive. Other than being a blood splattered version, the figure looks to be the same as the standard Shao Kahn figure. The figure includes interchangeable hands, a removable helmet, a hammer, and a throne. Shao Kahn first appears in Mortal Kombat II in 1993 as the final boss and main antagonist. Shao Kahn was Outworld’s protector and an advisor to the realm’s rulers, Onaga. The Mortal Kombat tournament prevents him from taking the realm by force, but if Shao Kahn’s champions win 10 consecutive tournaments, Earthrealm will be his. As long as his champions Shang Tsung and Price Goro do not fail him, he will be victorious.

Today we are catching up with Storm Collectibles Street Fighter figures with a look at the recently released Zangief! He’s the latest State-side release so far. Towering over all the other Street Fighter 5 figures, he comes in at 8.5 inches. Storm’s fighter figures are bulky by default and Zangief keeps that going at the taller height. He is a big dense brick of plastic, and that’s a good thing. He feels great in hand. Articulation is still there though, and sculpting, especially on the face, is on point. We’ve done up over 45 HD images so read on to check him out!
Double header today! Next up is Storm Collectibles Street Fighter V “Hot Ryu”. This is Ryu’s alternate look in the game, shirtless, bearded and scarred. He was originally a SDCC 2017 exclusive, but has trickled out to retailers online since. I can’t comment on the hotness, but as a figure he’s fire. The stance is great, and he moves and poses better than the original Storm Ryu. Sculpting is sharp throughout capturing the scars and tattered pants. While not an original look, he’s a welcome addition to the Street Fighter display. Read on to check out over 40 HD images!
Time to run some catch up and take a look at Storm Collectibles Street Fighter V Ken Masters. Ken dropped earlier in the year featuring his new SFV look complete with athletic shirt, gi on the waist and new hairdo. For those looking to swap these Storm pieces in for a classic SF look line up, Ken won’t do it. That being said, he is a true to game representation of 5’s Ken. As with all the Storm Collectibles 1/12 fighters so far, he has a bulky frame with a wide range of articulation and great accessories. Let’s take a look at him and what he can do after the break!

Storm Collectibles is expanding their Street Fighter license, which originally consisted of figures from Street Fighter V. In a quick announcement they have revealed they will be producing figures based on Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers. This “final” version of Street Fighter 2 was released for the Nintendo Switch. It’s based on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo: HD Remix, which was released originally for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In Ultra Street Fighter 2, Capcom added some new modes and tweaked the balance of the fighters even more. They also added Evil Ryu from the Street Fighter Alpha series and Violent Ken from SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos to the game. We will update as more details are released.
