A few weeks back, we shared photos and details for the massive Jurassic Park – Tyrannosaurus Rex Attack Diorama coming from Iron Studios. We knew when it was announced that Chronicle Collectibles would be distributing the item in North America. Tonight, our friends at Chronicle Collectibles have shared full pre-order details for the sets. Starting tomorrow at 3:00 PM CDT (4:00 PM EST), Chronicle will open five pre-orders for people who want to collect various parts of the large diorama display.
“The team in Brazil at Iron Studios clearly has as much passion for Jurassic Park as we do. To celebrate today’s 25th anniversary of this landmark film, we wanted to offer this massive diorama after months of fan speculation and anticipation. Whether fans pre-order the whole thing or just a part, every piece of this set is a collector’s dream. As the official licensee for Jurassic Park in the United States and many other countries, we are proud to distribute this set.” – Robert Davis, Social Media & Events Outreach
The pre-orders includes two different sections of the diorama, a set with both sections, and separate pre-orders for the Jungle Explorers. All of these items must be pre-ordered by July 20th to guarantee a purchase. Any orders received after July 20th will be added to a wait-list. There’s a ton of additional info to digest for each set. After the jump you’ll find over 80 photos, as well as full details on each pre-order. Once pre-orders go live, we’ll update this post with links to each listing.
Pre-orders are now live! We’ve updated the post to include links. Check them out after the jump.
The Iron Studios Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus Rex Attack Diorama has been full revealed. The diorama will be split into two parts, and will be available separately as well as in a set. The diorama was teased earlier in the year, when Iron Studios and Chronicle Collectibles announced their Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ian Malcolm Statues. This 1/10 scale diorama features the T-Rex as he breaks out of his enclosure and attacks the Jungle Explorer, while Dr. Grant and Dr. Malcolm attempt to distract him.
The Tyrannosaurus Rex Attack Set A features the T-Rex standing atop a flipped over Jungle Explorer (complete with kids inside), complete with environment pieces. The Tyrannosaurus Rex Attack Set B features Dr. Grant and Dr. Malcolm, a Jungle Explorer, and the second half of the environment. Each Set is priced at $1299.99, with a bundle including the whole diorama available for $2499.99. They are planned for release between May 2019 to August 2019. We’ll update with word from Chronicle Collectibles about the official U.S. release for the sets when they reveal their plans.

Chronicle Collectibles has sent along some details on the upcoming Iron Studios Jurassic Park Statues that they will be distributing in North America and other select territories. The new statues included Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ian Malcolm. These will be 1/10 scale statues cast in polystone with a hand painted finish. The statues depict the iconic scene where the T-Rex breaks free from his containment, with both Grant and Malcolm looking to distract the creature using road flares. Dr. Malcom will stand just over 8″ tall, while Dr. Grant will stand just over 7.4″ tall. Each of the characters stands atop a Jurassic Park logo base.
Pre-orders for the statues go live on Friday, February 23rd at 3:00PM Central Time at chroniclecollectibles.com. The statues will be sold separately and are priced at just $89 each. In the future, Iron Studios plans to produce a larger scale Tyrannosaurus Rex Attack diorama, which will feature these two statues. Chronicle Collectibles will be offering any subsequent statue pieces that will complete the dio.
