A new advanced unboxing video for the Machine Robo DX Series MRDX-01 Bike Robo confirms that the figure will include some extra parts that weren’t previously announced. These include three additional interchangeable portraits, each of which pay homage to the Go-Bots version of Bike Robo…Cy-Kill! The video shows off the articulation, scale and more. But fans looking for these larger version to bring a little more 80’s nostalgia should be pleased with the look of the Cy-Kill style face sculpts. Check it out in the video below.

Action Toys has released new photos of their upcoming Machine Robo DX Series MRDX-01 Bike Robo. This larger scale version of Bike Robo features an all new sculpt, an updated paint deco, and even some effects pieces. The original Bike Robo stood about 4.5″ tall, while the DX Bike Robo will be a little over 7″ tall! The figure is based on Bike Robo’s appearance in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos. Fans of 80’s toys will, of course, recognize the design from the classic Go-Bots toy line, where the original figure became the villainous Cy-Kill.
Price has not been determined at this time, but the figure is expected to go up for order in December. You can see the new photos after the jump.
After a long break between announcement, Action Toys has finally updated with a small bit of info on upcoming Machine Robo products. The next two figures in the line up are MR-07 Shuttle Robo and MR-08 Missiletank Robo. They are now scheduled for a release this August! They have shared a few new photos of the figures, which can be seen after the jump.
The bigger announcement (literally) is they have revealed the first figure in their Machine Robo DX Series. The first reveal is for MRDX-01 Bike Robo. While the original Bike Robo (full gallery Here) was about 4.5″ tall, this new figure will be over 7″ in height. The figure has been completely redesigned with a new sculpt and chrome painted areas. first last of the initial wave of Action Toys modern era Machine Robo figures is finally in hand. Bike Robo – aka Cy-Kill from the Go-Bots – is actually labeled #1 in the series but released after the other 3 in the wave due to last minute retooling. He captures the Revenge of Chronos anime look well, not sporting the angry face he’s known for in Go-Bots animation. After this weeks release of new photos, fans have been clamoring for pre-orders and more info on the Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos figures. Well, we have you covered. Action Toys released some new photos, which show off the impressive articulation and details of the figures. Each bot will include a fully modular display platform, which offers some great display possibilities.
The even better news is that pre-orders for the first two figures are live now. Bike Robo (Cy-Kill) and Rod Drill (Screwhead) are the first two figures available. They are priced at $45.99 each and stand in the 4.5″ to 5″ range and include diecast metal parts. They are scheduled to arrive in the second quarter of the year.
Thanks to 52toys we now have updated images of the upcoming Machine Robo aka Masterpiece Gobots that are set for release in February 2016 via Action Toys. These are highly detailed, fully transformable figures. Included are:
