Ok, one more press release from Warner Bros. today. Now that the Licensing Expo 2013 is under way, expect more to come within the next day or so. Warner Bros. has announced that Bandai has been named the Master Toy Partner for Legendary Pictures‘ 2014 iteration of Godzilla! Additional Godzilla licenses were awarded to NECA, Sideshow, Trevco, Rubies, Bioworld and Jakks Pacific.

Bandai has released new photos of their upcoming S.H. Monster Arts Mechagodzilla – Type 3 – Kiryu. We’ve previously seen a few photos, but these new images give us a great look at the upcoming figure, including the changeable eyes and removable back piece. Kiryu is from the 2002 movie Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla! The figure is set for release in September.

Bandai, via Tamashii, has released new images and a release date for their upcoming S.H. Monster Arts Mechagodzilla – Type 3 – Kiryu (aka “Machine Dragon“). It’s based on the Mechagodzilla from the 2002 movie Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla! The figure is set for release in September.

Diamond Comics has posted a press release stating they plant to distribute Godzilla toys in North America. Check it out below:

“GODZILLA has been a pop culture icon since he was unleashed on the world in 1954,” said John Parker, Diamond’s VP- New Business Development. “Now that Diamond can provide a complete offering of awesome GODZILLA merchandise from Toho, the long lost and unavailable figures and collectibles will be easily accessible to the fans of the nuclear beast. With a new film in production and scheduled for release in May, 2014 the monster merchandise will be here just in time to make its way onto the shelves of North American retailers.”

Bandai Japan has posted images and info for an upcoming SH Monsterarts Godzilla 1964 Version. The figure is expected to be available in July. Godzilla will stand about 6″ tallPrice will be listed at 6,090 Yen (about $65 USD).

Another update from Bluefin Tamashii Nations reveals that the S.H. MonsterArts Destroyah figure, which was previously an exclusive to Asian markets, will be getting a release in USA. It’s expected to be release in June/July 2013.
A special exclusive option set for S.H.MonsterArts Destroyah (1995) only available in Asia via the Tamashii Web Shop will be made specially available for US fans. This set will feature figures of three forms (crustacean-like, aggregate crustacean and flying) of Godzilla’s ultimate enemy prior to the creature’s final demonic bipedal form. Aggregate form- 90mm height/Flying form- 40mm length/Crab form- 60mm height

Dread Central is reporting that Organic Hobby, Inc. is going to release a 3D movie poster of the original Godzilla movie poster. This is only the first in a series, which they are calling Real Artwork. The statue will stand 11 inches tall, will come in a closed box with custom display case and is limited to only 500 pieces.
