In John Wick Chapter 2, we are introduced to the Blood Oath Markers. These large, coin-like objects are used by the Continental. The object opens in the center, revealing a split surface. Someone who is in debt presses their bloodied thumb into one half, committing to a blood oath. The person the debt is owed to presses their bloodied thumb into the other half once the blood oath is fulfilled. We also are shown the gold Continental Coins. These large gold coins are the currency of the underworld in the John Wick universe. they can be used to purchase everything from services to weapons to a stay at The Continental itself.
Fans of the film can purchase their own versions of these items with the John Wick – Blood Oath Marker and Continental Coins Replica Set from Chronicle Collectibles. These replicas are cast in metal, directly from the screen used props. In the set, you get a single Blood Oath Marker and four Continental Coins. Chronicle was kind enough to provide a set of the coins for us to check out. After the jump, check out my photo shoot and thoughts on the replicas.

Overall
This replica set comes packaged in a simple, small cardboard box with designs inspired by the coins and marker. Inside, the Blood Oath Marker and coins sit in a dense black foam tray. The tray keeps the coins protected well, but can also act as a nice display base for them.
Being cast directly from a screen used prop is a great way to ensure accuracy on any prop replica. The marker and coins are no exception. The Blood Oath Marker is cast in a pewter-ish metal with a slightly dull, brushed metal look to it. The marker is packed with exquisite detailing. The center of the marker opens at a 45-degree angle, and the interior is textured exactly like the film version. The hinge is strong and can hold the marker open without needing to be propped open. The coins are also cast in metal, with a golden (likely not real gold) coating that gives them a bright reflective sheen. Smaller than the marker, but with equally nice detailing, the coins make a great companion display piece. The coins are also cast from the screen used props, and each side has fine detail work. They look like authentic Continental Coins, and there’s not much more you can ask for.
If you’re a fan of John Wick (at this point, who isn’t), and like prop replicas that don’t eat up a lot of space, then I would say these are worth a look. They are available now directly from the Chronicle Collectibles Store at a price of $115 for the set. Check out some select pics below and the rest of the photos in the full gallery after that.
