Today we are catching up with Storm Collectibles Street Fighter figures with a look at the recently released Zangief! He’s the latest State-side release so far. Towering over all the other Street Fighter 5 figures, he comes in at 8.5 inches. Storm’s fighter figures are bulky by default and Zangief keeps that going at the taller height. He is a big dense brick of plastic, and that’s a good thing. He feels great in hand. Articulation is still there though, and sculpting, especially on the face, is on point. We’ve done up over 45 HD images so read on to check him out!

Overall Thoughts:
Really fun release. Having a heavy dense chunk of plastic is rare these days, but Storm keeps their style going even at this bigger size. Almost all in-game moves can be recreated, the only restriction is in the legs. Most Storm figures have range issues in the lower half. Not a deal breaker, but the sculpts get in the way for really dynamic poses. The shoulders were a little tight, and can pop out during posing. Nothing broke though and everything can pop back on so that’s all you can ask for. The face sculpt on all 3 are fantastic, and paint applications are sharp. The chest hair is actually a separate piece that moves around with poses as needed. The shorts are actually hollow, a thinner rubber piece that bends as needed with the leg movements. Bottom line he’s a beast of a figure and super fun to smash your other fighters with. If you are into the Street Fighter franchise, he’s definitely worth a pick up!
