During New York Comic-Con 2017, we got our first in-person look at the upcoming Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core – Play Arts Kai Zack Fair Figure. We now have official photos and some info for the figure. Originally introduced in Final Fantasy VII, we get to know much more about Zack in the companion prequel game, Crisis Core, where he is the main protagonist. The game, set seven years prior to Final Fantasy VII, you follow Zack as he seeks out a platoon lead be Genesis, a SOLDIER from the Shinra Corporation who has gone missing. As the game unfolds, more information is revealed about Zack’s connection not only to Cloud, but to Sephiroth and the part they all play in setting up the events of the iconic FFVII.
The 10″ scale figure will include interchangeable hands, the Buster Sword, a peg to attach the Buster Sword to Zack’s back, and a figure stand. The Zack Figure will be priced at 15,984 Yen (about $141 USD). The figure should be released, in Japan, some time in March 2018. You can see all of the photos after the jump.
