Next up in our look at Star Wars The Last Jedi Wave 1 Black Series figures is Hera Syndulla. Hera is from the Star Wars Rebels cartoon series and joins Kanan, Sabine and Ahsoka in the jump to more realistic interpretations. Sabine has a good range of Black Series articulation and comes with a single pistol that holsters on her ankle. Read on to check out some shots and additional thoughts courtesy of Dorkside Toys!

Overall thoughts:
Hera is one I’ve been waiting on for a while. I really dig the Black Series versions of these cartoon-first characters. When going from movie to figure, you lose realism when processing it in your head. When going from toon to figure, done like this, you’re gaining realism. Less to compare accuracy to, and you can just enjoy the sculpt for what it is. I like having a little squad of modern characters over to the side of my main Black Series OT displays. Hera is sharp, paint & sculpt are on point. She holds a pose pretty well. One of her shoulder armor plates seems to be on crooked, can’t tell if that’s line wide or just mine. Not a deal breaker either way. She pairs great with Kanan, and the 4 together are awesome. I hope we get Ezra, Chopper, Zeb, and even old Rex as the line progresses. Stopping here would be a shame. Bottom line, if you dig the character it’s worth a pick up!
