Oh, I’m not gonna kill ya. I’m just gonna hurt ya… really, really bad. S.H. Figuarts is still pumping out Suicide Squad DCEU figures, and while folks may be split on the movie, the figures have been top notch. Harley Quinn is one of my favorite recent figures, and this Joker is her natural companion. This is Jared Leto’s Suicide Squad Joker in his nightclub get up, Silver jacket and Purpleroon dress shirt, blinged out and guns blazing. Likeness is pretty good, and it has some of the best suited figure articulation I’ve come across. Read on to check out over 50 shots and some additional thoughts!
S.H. Figuarts Suicide Squad Joker
Overall
Well executed figure. For a Suicide Squad Joker, this hits all the notes. Metallic sheen in the jacket, great face sculpt and paint. Accurate tattoos on the face. Jewelry, pink chrome guns. Significant articulation even in a suit. Joints hold their poses. Stands well. He works great with SHF Suicide Squad Harley, perfect pair. A nitpick – Harley seems a bit too big when next to him. I think he is proper size for the SHF line, so that would put Harley in the tad too big zone. Couldn’t tell when she was solo, but here it’s a bit noticeable.
So, the only thing you really need to decide is if you want this version of the Joker in your line up. If you do, it’s boss and the best version of him so far!
Please note – close up shots of the faces show dot-matrix style printing artifacts. This is not visible to naked eye from normal distances, even holding in hand semi close. It’s due to the computerized printing method that’s replacing hand painting on the assembly line, and what allows for very small and detailed accents like his head tattoos possible.
