Toyark’s S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Z galleries continue with a look at Whis! Whis made his first appearance in the hit movies from a couple years ago Dragonball Z: Battle of the Gods, which introduced he and Beerus as new super-powerful beings to contend with on the universal stage. While initially thought to be a servant, he’s proved much more. He also has moved to the Dragonball Super show on the air in Japan now, and this packaging features that branding. Let’s take a look courtesy of site sponsor The Toy Source!

S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Super Whis
Overall:
Whis was not high on my list of must haves, but since we are going down the modern era rabbit hole, and Beerus is out, he had to be done. His range is a bit limited due to his animation design, but overall it’s a sharp toon accurate offering. He pairs perfectly with Beerus and the SSGSS versions of Goku and Vegeta. It’s a nice line up of modern era figs to go with our classic representations. The staff is well done, nailing that hovering orb in the center of the circle with clear plastic holding it in place. Of course, the alternate heads are great and the O face will make for some funny situations in your shoots and shelves. Bottom line – if you have Beerus and/or are doing the full modern line up, worth a pick up!
