Now that DC Icons and the Designer Series galleries up to date, time to run some catch up on the DC Collectibles Batman Animated line here at Toyark. We’ll be taking a look this week at some figures which dropped in late 2015, and first up is Bane. Bane comes in his “The New Batman Adventures” (TNBA) get up and runs bigger than his counterparts to stay in scale. Let’s check how he stacks up after the break!

Overall
The DCC Batman Animated line is well done, capturing the cartoon’s look and feel in 3D form. They’ve gone hard with a deep roster and there are more to come. As with many long running lines, figures are more about filling ranks and hitting a subset of collectors that desire specific things. For me, the money figs have been done – Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Joker, Harley, Batmobile. Everyone else is gravy. And Bane is gravy. He’s well done, hefty in the hand, larger than the base 6 inch figure. Articulation is good in the chest and arms. The head paint is super well done, even his teeth are sculpted out. He’ll be a nice towering addition to the ranks on a DCC Animated shelf. Check him breaking some Bat-back below!
