The Toyark is happy to present it’s last DC Collectibles catch up gallery for the weekend – New 52 Supergirl! Kara Zor-El got a re-imagined origin story in the DC reboot, and her outfit got an upgrade as well, rocking the Kryptonian armor style her cousin also has. The figure again captures the female form well without going overboard and features a superb face sculpt. Check out over 25 shots and some of our quick thoughts after the break!

Overall
Supergirl, along with Batgirl, Power Girl and Huntress from DC Collectibles New 52 line are well done female action figures. As the action figure lines shift and accept that adults are the core focus, they’ve been able to bring us these characters a bit more. While I personally have no desire for a massive female character display, I think its cool and important to have them sprinkled in a universe wide shelf. Supergirl can stand on her own as a figure, featuring a good range of movement in DCC terms, a great sculpt, and paint that pops even from a distance. As a compliment to Superman, even better.
