The Toyark concludes it’s DC Collectibles Designer Series Greg Capullo figure shoots today with the Riddler! The Riddler rounds out the four initial releases along with Batman, Talon and Nightwing. Later in the year (Octoberish) we are set to get some more – Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Red Hood, and Batman in the Thrasher suit! That’s a pretty sweet lineup right there when they all are out. Check out our thoughts and over 20 shots of him in action after the break.
DC Collectibles Designer Series Greg Capullo Riddler
Pros:
Great sculpt
Colors pop
Faithful to the book
Cons:
Not a lot of articulation (not necessarily bad)
Overall:
This is a great looking figure, but what you see is what you get. It’s not doing much else. DC Collectibles’ look-first rule came into play here, and that isn’t really a bad thing. There is still way more articulation on this compared to some previous DCC releases. It’s just tame compared to the other figures in the series. No outward hips or shoulders. But you do get an elbow and wrist swivel. Also get a little ankle movement to help with forward poses. It’s a great shelf representation of the new era Riddler, and can fit with New 52 stuff a bit easier than the others due to it’s slender profile.
Check out over 20 shots below, and the rest of the DCC Designer Series if you like!
