As the Godzilla craze works it’s way to peak in May, product based on it’s 50+ years of history will be hitting us from all angles. One of those pieces is a new “figure bank” from Diamond Select Toys. Standing 12 inches tall and 18 inches long with tail, the figure represents his appearance in the 1989 film Godzilla vs. Biollante. Since this is static, there isn’t much to review. Sculpt is on point, paint is solid. Tail is removable in order to get the coins out. Comes bagged, not boxed. Thick non-bending vinyl material, hollow (it’s a Godziggy bank). For long time Godzilla collectors, I can’t say I know the slight specifics that would make this a perfect offering or not. But as a big solid representation of Godzilla as most casual folks know him on first glance, this does the job. He’s priced at $34.99 and is in comic shops now! Check out over 20 shots after the break!
