Review
Since the announcement of the new Mordles, one of the colorways I was hoping to see were glow in the dark pieces. Now thatt hey have been released, I am not disappointed. The Gesit Mordles come in the full glow in the dark sculpt with teal colored teeth, eyes and claws. As you know, I’m already hooked on these mini figures. The latest releases make a great stand a lone set (which is why I didn’t mix them in with the other colors in the gallery). The plastic holds the light well, and they glowed brightly for a good 40 minutes while shooting. Th only minor quibble I would have is that the color of the glow in the dark plastic softens the sculpted details a bit on the figures. That was to be expected though.
The larger Geihoza Mordle has the opposite result. While the matte red of the previous Imbalance of Blood Mordle features soft details, the glow in the dark vinyl actually brings out the details a bit more. Like the Geist Mordles, Geihoza features teal colored highlights. Also, it held the light for a good amount of time and glowed just as brightly as the smaller figures.
Toyfinity nailed these releases again. Finally having glow in the dark versions has me excited. It looks like their fans are just as excited, as the figures sold out quickly again. I look forward to seeing what’s next. Perhaps some translucent releases are on the horizon? That may be the natural next step here.
