DC Collectibles Arkham City Clayface Revealed

DC Collectibles Clayface 01

DC Collectibles just revealed their next Deluxe Action Figure from the Arkham games, and it’s none other than Clayface! The figure is huge, towering over the standard 7 inch figures, and even tops their previous big boy Solomon Grundy. Check out all the pics and details after the break!

The monstrous Clayface can take any shape—including that of an awesome action figure like this brand new one based on the villain’s appearance from Batman: Arkham City.

Yes, the new year may be just beginning, but we’re already calling it the Year of Clayface, and it’s easy to see why. At over thirteen inches tall, the Batman: Arkham City Clayface Deluxe Action Figure is the largest action figure that DC Collectibles has ever produced. (See how it stacks up to our previous deluxe figures in the gallery above.) With eleven points of articulation, switchable arms, an interchangeable head, and more nuance and texture than an award-winning screen performance, it’s a figure that’ll put all of your other action figures to shame. And for a larger than life character like Basil Karlo, that’s only appropriate.

The accessories saved this, in my opinion. It doesn't look all that much like the in-game model, and I absolutely hate the ice crystals they added to him. If they aren't removable then I'll end up having to paint them to look like rocks, or just dremmel them off entirely.

The scale is amazing though, and it's still a great interpretation of Clayface even if it doesn't exactly look like the Arkham City version.

I'll be buying him at some point.

True, plus the muscles don't help, I like the classic clayface. Why is the comic book industry obsessed with roided characters.

Thats EXACTLY what I thought the moment I saw it, and I kinda hated that version of Abomination (although I liked the film). That combined with the crystals and megaroid musculatureit just doesnt look like he's made of clay to me. The legs have that nice gloppy clay look but the rest looks too sculpted for lack of better word.

I mean it really looks like Doomsday and Abomination crapped out a kid. Why is he so ripped?? Why does his face look like a Skull?? The sculpt of the hands and legs look great, what were they thinking. Grundy did not have electricity sculpted on him! I understand what they were going for with the Ice deco, but WHY??? and why is it so evenly sculpted??? Did you only hit Clayface in his upper back or elbows to beat him???, I DON'T THINK SO.

Doesn't look much like him at all. Not convinced until I can see final images/ice crystals removed.
