Amazing Spiderman Studio Series Wave 2

A listing that turned up on Robotkingdom has revealed the Walmart exclusive…

Amazing Spiderman Studio Series Figures Wave 2

  • Ultimate Spiderman – Comic series (1 per case)
  • Spiderman – Movie series (2 per case)
  • Lizard – Movie series (2 per case)
  • Unmasked Spiderman – Movie series (3 per case)
The Unmasked Amazing Spiderman figure was revealed at SDCC 2012. It comes with a display stand(able to connect with other stands), swappable head, skateboard, and backpack. Availability is listed as beginning next week, so we should be seeing this wave appear at Walmart not too long afterwards.

The Unmasked Spiderman may prove to be less of a chore to find than the Robert Downey Junior Iron Man Mark IV and Avengers Studio Series figures other than Captain America and Iron Man. Click on the thumbnail for a closer look.

    That's it!?
Devoting an entire wave to a single new head sculpt.....wow.

At the VERY least I hope they'll release the Ult. Spidey figure in regular, non Miles Morales colors.

Nope, the description says "swap-able heads". I think the unmasked hair would make a mask impossible.

Tobey wins .... lol just kidding

I remember having this figure wasn't bad but the mask was like rubbery plastic the downside to that is if you wanted it on then sometimes of it coming on and off its easily ripped cause it wasn't a full mask a head swap is better

Wow, an unmasked Spidey in wave 2? Where is the unmasked Iron Man, Cap and a Black Widow from the Walmart Avengers line? Oh yeah, Hasbro never made one.

I'd by a figure of her, and I'm not even a Spidey fan, lol.... Honestly, given how important her character was in the movie, I'm just a tiny bit surprised she hasn't gotten a figure yet (not to my knowledge anyways). Then again, it's Hasbro, who seems to be stuck on the "female characters don't sell" mantra.

i agree but i don't find it surprising. it took years to get a mary jane figure from the rami spidey flicks. and since were not getting a 6' inch black widow figure for the avengers line (and she's in on the action just much as the male characters) i don't think they'll ever do a gwen figure
