Toys “R” Us and Lego have announced their Bricktober events. Throughout October, Toys “R” Us stores will be holding Lego events.
– From Sunday, October 2 to Saturday, October 8, customers will discover the Ninja Princess, first introduced in the Ninja series that ran from 1998 to 2000. Originally introduced in 1999, this feisty figure was also included in the 2010 Vintage Minifigure Collection Volume 5.
– From Sunday, October 9 to Saturday, October 15, LEGO fans can find Rob N. Hood, leader of the Forestmen faction of the Castle theme. First released in 1990, Rob N. Hood led a merry band of skilled archers who enjoyed food and good times.
– From Sunday, October 16 to Saturday, October 22, collectors can pick up a rerelease of one of the original LEGO minifigures – the classic Knight. This medieval minifigure first appeared in the 1978 Castle series.
– From Sunday, October 23 to Saturday, October 29, LEGO collectors can rediscover the Black Classic Spaceman. Originally issued in 1984, this astronaut was the least commonly used version of the space-faring minifigure, only appearing in 9 LEGO sets between 1984 and 1986.

Toys R Us: LEGO Bricktober Starts Sunday, Freebies, Deals & More
Toys”R”Us and LEGO Systems, Inc. have once again formed the ultimate construction event at Toys”R”Us stores nationwide and online at Toysrus.com, shaping October into “Bricktober.” Customers will find a LEGO celebration at Toys”R”Us stores throughout the month, highlighted by weekly specials on LEGO products, a special Cars 2 event, dedicated boutiques filled with LEGO sets and more. To commemorate this year’s “Bricktober” event, LEGO Systems, Inc. and Toys”R”Us have returned to the LEGO archives to reissue four classic LEGO minifigures as limited-edition magnets. Each week in October, Toys”R”Us stores and Toysrus.com will offer incredible values on a large assortment of LEGO products. “Bricktober” begins with a special deal, offering 30% off select LEGO sets with more than 250 additional LEGO construction sets and games also on sale from Sunday, October 2 through Saturday, October 8. The following week, LEGO fans can get into the Halloween spirit when they receive a special, complimentary Ninjago Battle Arena with any LEGO construction set purchase of $50 or more, while supplies last from Sunday, October 9 through Saturday, October 15. LEGO lovers can also look forward to additional special sales throughout the month of October.

Cars 2 Event Cruises Into “Bricktober” at Toys”R”Us Stores Nationwide
Since Lightning McQueen, Mater and the rest of the gang returned to the big screen this summer in Cars 2, children everywhere have been building their own versions of classic scenes from the film with the help of a series of LEGO construction sets. Merging Cars 2 and “Bricktober,” Toys”R”Us stores will help kids “Race Around the World” during special Cars 2 events on Saturday, October 15 from 2-4 pm. During the event, kids can build and decorate their own version of Rod “Torque” Redline “” the greatest American spy in the world! And, attention race fans, Rod “Torque” Redline is not available in any Cars 2 LEGO sets and can only be found during this event.
