New Dragonzord & Power Ranger News Confirmed by Bandai

P2150549

Our good friend JoshB at Collection DX had the opportunity to speak to a Bandai representative at this year’s Toy Fair. Thanks to him we have learned the following:

When asked about the dragonzord, they said that the #1 request was for a Dragonzord. Bandai confirmed a Deluxe Dragonzord for sometime in 2011. they said this Dragonzord will feature electronic lights, sound and motorized action. No idea what that action is, or if the Dragonzord will combine with the Megazord.

Plus, it seems Power Rangers will continue being a staple line for Bandai of America:

If you’ve read this far, I have a special treat for you. When talking to the Bandai reps about the future line, they said that the plan is to move back to the Japanese series, starting with Shinkenger, probably in 2012.

    About Power Rangers

Over the past seventeen years, the Power Rangers have been on Earth, in space, on the moon, under water, traveling through time, in the jungle and anywhere evil lurks. They’ve battled Rita Repulsa, Divatox, Master Org, Dark Spector, Toxica, Jindrax and many more evil-doers – villains who have been shrunk to miniatures, tossed in jail, reduced to ooze or banished. Over time, the brand has maintained its themes of teamwork, honesty, loyalty, courage, family, friends and above all, the victory of good over evil. Meanwhile, I still await the day Bandai decides to make a SOC style, diecast, fully articulated, and transforming DX Megazord.

For now, all that's been rumored to be shown are the following:

Megazord fits inside Titanus. Titanus has geared feet that move as you roll him along the floor.
Power Rangers Heroes: Shield Jason, Dino Megazord, and it seems a Dragonzord with four smaller Zords.
New 4 inch figures are Blue, Red and Black Rangers with Green Ranger shields and a White Ranger.
Gyro Launching Ranger that launches Ninjetti Coins.

well, i was stoked when i found out about the DX Titanus coming out but got confused that it's coming out before the DX Dragonzord. and i was wondering and i'v also heard roomers about this. the DX Dino Megazord can fit in the DX Titanus. but my biggest main concern is, will the Titanus' chest piece and front leg piece come off to put on the Dino Megazord?
